  • Mike says:

I feel really bad for you guys (Montreal Canadiens). How can a player not be affected by the constant criticism by all these couch potato coaches? Even your own coach (Martin) has no respect for the players criticizing them on national TV. I believe Carey Price is an asset to the team, and hope he does not pick up and leave, I know I would!!! GOOD LUCK CAREY!!!!!

  • Pierre says:

    Hey Carey,

Hang in there. Jaro’s playing great right now but you’re still #1 in my book. Hope to see you in the nets ASAP and in the bleu, blanc, rouge FOREVER!

  • Melissa says:

By the way, thank you soo much for picking me as you Number one fan! It means a lot to me! =D!

  • Shawn Metivier says:

Carey, I am visiting from Quesnel, British Columbia and will be at the game on Wednesday, Feb 10th against the Capitals. I am a billet parent for the Quesnel Millionaires who I believe you played for in your junior years. I have a young gentlemen from Montreal (major Canadian fan) billeting with me who would love an autographed jersey, is there any way to meet and get a signed jersey.

    Thanks

  • Hoblos4lyfe says:

    Hi Carey,

It’s sad to see you guys loosing :( , but we all know you guys can do better, even you can do better!

Tell me, are you planning to stay like that forever, not being negative or anything, just asking :D .

Trust me, I am in your side man that’s why I am asking you those questions, cuz I know you are the best!

  • Melanie says:

    Hi Carey !!!
I would you to know that I am one of your biggest fan since the beginning. I realy think that you are the futur of the Montréal Canadiens cause you have so much talent. I also realy want you to know that you make me doing the craziest thing I’ve ever done. I got a CH tatou, with your number in a star( juste between my best friend’s favorite number et Patrick Roy, it’s like….33-31-24)

I hope I would be able to meet you one day, I mean not in a practice(cause i’m often there)..

And i want to say you that, when you have some doubt think about this song:
    Eyes of the tiger:
So many times it happens too fast, you trade your passion for glory….Don’t loose the grip on the dreams of the past you must fight just to keep them alive.

Just playing for fun and you’ll be the best for a long while..

One of your biggest fan ever,

  • Mike says:

Hello, I believe that Care Price is a very good goaltender. I also believe they are setting him up to fail. Why would they put Carey Price in nets after a long absence, against a top notch team which is on a winning streak? That is a weird way of building up a player’s confidence. I feel he did a great job against Washington. Unless they want to play down his value and set up a trade for Jaro. I can see that Carey and Jaro support each other. I firmly believe that the entourage (media) hurts a player’s confidence

  • Valérie says:

Hello, I think that Carey Price is a good goaltender, but I think people are trying to put him down instaid of supporting him. Please stop comparing Halak and Price cause I think there is a good friendship between the two of them. So support Carey instaid of putting him down.

    GO Carey

    Val

  • DORIANA says:

I live in ontario, and i will tell you something – it is HARD being a habs fan here! But nonetheless, I support Carey Price.

It really pisses me off when people blame it on the goalie. It’s not always there fault! Carey is a really good goaltender. You can see flashes of excellence every now and then, and you can really tell that he wants to be their number 1. All he needs is confidence and a little acknolegdement from his fans and his teammates.

    Keep going and persevere.

  • Andrea .S says:

I want to start by saying that it take a lot of guts to go out in front of an international crowd and play the greatest sport in the world. I commend Carey Price for his ability to play with such heart, strength and skill that he does. If there was one person on that team that my father and I could meet it would be him. My ultimate dream would be to get an autograph on my dads jersey while we are in California to see him play in three games. And this will also be special in the fact that it will be my first live NHL game I am going to. Keep playing with heart Carey!! We know what you can do. We have seen it time and time again.

  • Mike says:

Prove to everyone that you are the best goalie in the NHL. I wish you the best of luck in tonights game against BOSTON. GOOD LUCK CAREY!!!!!

  • Joëlle says:

Hi! My name is Joëlle and I don’t speak english at well… but I will try to do my best.

All you says guys is true! I think Carey Price is better than Jaroslav Halak; better technic, better move, can be very concentrate when he’s in the game and can make amazing save!

In the moment people blame it all the time, but he don’t deserve it…
Yes, sometime this year he don’t make the “key save” for make the team win. But who blame the players of the team? Nobody. How many times the players did not play very good when Price was is the net? Too many.
The game against the Sharks Price was almost perfect! He get the first star of the game! But the team lost because the players doesn’t play! And when Halak is in the goal, they play! I hate Jacques Martin because when a goaltender lost a game, he put the other goaltender, even if he keep is team in the game, even if he lost in overtime or in shootout, even if he’s the first star, if he make more of 30 saves, if he’s the only to play like a NHL’s player, he will put the other goaltender the next game! What a coach! If I’m Jacques Martin, after the game at San Jose, I put Carey Price in the goal for the next game! Come on!

Price was drafth in 2005, when he’s come to Montreal, everybody says:”He the futur Patrick Roy! He’s our number one! He will bring the cup to Montreal!” Wow! Relax, just let him the time to see what’s play for Montreal with the “fans” who blame everybody and “boooo” their team (I don’t say all the fans are like this…), to get experience, because he’s young! And it’s very difficult to play when you have all the presure on your shoulders!

We have to encourage Carey Price and not “booo” him when he’s in the net, because if he decide to quit Montreal, it’s sure we will regret it after.
’cause Price is a very good goaltender, and I support him since I see him play.

If we are good fans, we have to encourage and support Carey Price because we have an amazing goaltender.

I hope he will not get tire because we blame and “booo” him…

I can write and write about Carey Price and Montreal for a long time but I want to watch the game against Edmonton…

    I wish I don’t destroy the english.

    Go Price Go!
    Let’s go Montreal!

        • Melissa says:

            Go Price Go! Joëlle

    • Math says:

      Mooi je parle francais :P

      • Joëlle says:

Cool! Ça fait deux personnes qui parle français qui me répondre! Je suis plus seule! C’est le fun! Merci de me l’avoir dit.

        Joëlle

    • Math says:

ta raison .. Carey Price is better than Halak !!Do not think the negative comments .. everybody here know that you are the best!

  • Joëlle says:

I don’t Know why it’s write:” at 1:18 am” because it’s 8:20 pm, but aniway I will go watch the game…

  • Nancy says:

    Hello Carey

I watched the game last night in Buffalo and, as I always am, was amazed at the way you played and the “saves” you made! You were given a tremendous amount of responsibility at a young age and you are showing that your ability and professionalism continue to grow. Keep it up—you make watching hockey exciting. Your career will be one I will follow–with great interest. I wish you the very best!

    Nancy—an avid fan!

  • Winnie says:

    Go Habs Go! :)

  • Mackenzie Woodall says:

    Hey Carey;
All I have to say is keep your chin up there kid!, Things will turn around. You’ve taken a few hits over the past year or so, but hang in there. I love watching you play in net. I’ve always been a big fan, and I hope everything works out that you become our starting goalie. I know you have it in you to be a great goalie, and it would be nice if the team could come together and help you out to get some more wins.

    Hi Carey,

I dont speak english but i’m gonna try to do my best.

I am thirteen years and I know that playing hockey is not always easy, Especially playing in the NHL.It’s normal to have a bad season, nobody is perfect.I have trouble because of my size. Many people tell me I’m too small to make the NHL but I dont listen them and i play the game…I think you had a lot of courage to play in the NHL with all the journalists, critics … no matter what people may tell about you… to me you will always be my number one goalkeeper!

  • Nick Manousos says:

hi Mr. Carey Price! My name is Nick. I live in rhode island, U.S.A I am 11 years old and I would love to meet you. I am a goalie also and I copy your style. I am very angry at the fans for treating you so badly. You are the best goalie i have ever seen! Between me and you, you should know that you should deserve to start every night and Jaroslav Halak should be riding the pine.I look forward to meeting you one day. I am going to canadiens camp in july and hopefully you will be there. If Martin is not starting you believe me he knows you are more talented but he wants to see when Halaks luck goes sour , and it has,to let those foolish fans understand your value and shut them up. By the way, my Dad posted my picture next to his note on your facebook page and it posted in your pictures. I think its face recognition because i kinda look like you. Sorry if thats an annoyance. Take it off if you want. Take care, Nick Manousos #31cranston edgewood hawks peewee c. Eriha.com.

  • Brad Wright says:

I have been a fan since the under 18 when the unfortunate goal from the sidewall went in. I think the way Carey is treated in Montreal is embarrassing to the rest of the Habs fans thru out the nation. I hope that they are smart enough to see that he is the goalie of the future. Halak is good but not the same. If they are stupid enough to trade Carey away. This life long Habs fan will be buying another Price jersey with whatever team. (Even Toronto). The kid is 22 years old. Has won everything in his career. He will bring the a cup to his team sometime in the near future. Lets hope it is in Montreal.

  • Jamie says:

Hi Carey! We just met today Sunday April 25th at the shopping mall. I wished I could have said more but I didn’t wanna bug any longer. I told you not to give up, and not let us down although there are bunch of bad fans outhere in MontreL!! I truly believe you’ll become a big #1 in Montreal. Keep working hard and learn and I bet ya you’ll become the next Patrick “KING”. I just hope that get along with your teammates and yourself. Montreal is a tough place to play, ask Patrick Roy. Cheers!!! GO PRICE GO’ GO PRICE GO!!!

  • mike says:

I guess everybody forgot about Carey now that Yaro is in the spotlight. Carey will have his time to shine. Give him a little slack, he will come out like a Tsunami. Have some faith!!!

    • Melissa says:

You’re right. Halak might be getting all the attention now but Price still did his part in helping out the team, we can’t forget that. Price will have his time to shine and he will be amazing! (:

  • Nick Manousos says:

Dear Mr. Carey Price, I will be attending the canadiens summer hockey camp as a goalie. The only reason I entered was to learn from all the best on the habs, but I wanted to learn from the very best, and thats you. I am 11 and come from lincoln. A small town in northeast rhode island. I am a canadian but I come from Laval. You are such a great role model for me, and plus, you are a really good guy and I want to become a goalie for the canadiens, just like you. You are the best of the best, and by the way, Nice plain white pads! You are a great goalie and you will win many cups in he future, maybe even this year! Good luck vs. Sid and the pens. I know the habs are down a game, but you will catch up, win it, and stun the hockey world. Good luck! – Nick

  • Dimitri Stagias says:

  • linkedfriend says:

    Yo carey

I’m your biggest fan ever. You play awesome.Since Gade one I only wanted your autograph.

  • Javeloon says:

Keep fighting Carey. It can be difficult to lead some of the players on that team, but you have some great guys there too. We notice tht you are doing everything you can, even when it is cheering from the bench. I really liked the way it all started to come together at the end of the season. Overall a real good season for you. Some definite steps forward. I know it is hard at this level, but don’t focus on the wins and losses too much, it takes a team to win and they left you out to dry alot this year and those tough bounces won’t last forever. When you were starting all the games, I felt that Halak deserved more time then he was getting and I hope they use both of you a lot next year. I hope both of you are back. The goaltending of this team is the strongest in the league but it is still in development. It is a tough place to grow, but remember how much you love it. Sign a short-term, mediocre contract, it will be worth it. Continue to stand up and fight back, continue to support the team, and we will continue to support you. You have your positioning developed nicely, you have down a great job of maintaining your head during the tough times, just throw a little more gasoline on that fire.

  • Melissa says:

Congratulations on winning the play of the year, Price! You deserved it. I’m really glad you’re staying on the team! (: Have a great summer!

  • Kevin says:

Hey Carey, you might not read this but if you do, i want you to know that there’s thousands of fans behind you, and more. On behalf of all them, I wanna tell you that We love you and we’re behind you, cheering. And on behalf of those who lost their faith, I wanna say sorry for low-balling you at some points. They had the right to critisize your work, but they didn’t act politely and i apologize for that. We acknowledge that you are now ready to prove them wrong! There will be losses and victories but in the end, you will be great, I’m sure of it! We all saw you workin’ on yourself and that’s a big sign of humility and maturity. You are young still but keep in mind all the great things you’ve accomplished already. Hey Good Luck, I can’t wait to watch you and the team win games ;) Go Habs Go !

    Kevin Leveille, 15 y/o

  • Melissa says:

Hey Price! I’m really happy that you were given the chance to stay in Montreal. I really hope you stay as a Montreal Canadian for a long time. You have a lot of talent and the fans have confidence in you!
I hope you enjoy your summer, and I really hope to see you in the Habs uniform next season (:

  • Michaël Coulombe says:

    I carey,

I now then this is very difficult to perform when the people do not belive in you. But please, dont listen them. Because you are the best and i belive in you. I belive in your capacities. You can to be a solid goaler. Let’s go Carey and kicker ass!

  • Francine Guy says:

I’ve been a hockey fan for over 45 years…I started watching back in the day when there were only 6 teams. I have always been and will ALWAYS be a Montreal fan, whether it be Hockey, sadly, not anymore, Baseball, Football or Soccer. I hate it when Hockey ends in the Spring and can’t wait for it to start up again in the Fall. I consider the Canadiens MY Team and am behind them NO MATTER WHAT!!!
Carey…you are our #1 Goalie and I know you are going to have a STELLAR year. I went to the first exhibition game last Wednesday and I was deeply disappointed by the reaction of the fans…I can understanf booing a crappy ref call or a dirty check by the other team, but what I cannot tolerate is booing OUR TEAM!!! Doesn’t matter who the fans boo- it’s NOT acceptable to me. When the Senators goalie let in a bunch of goals the night they lost to us, I didn’t hear the Ottawa fans booing…but they do it here in Montreal.
It’s NOT your fault Canadiens management traded Halak- overall your stats were better than his- you are our goalie and I think Halak got what he wanted, just not where. I think you are under a lot of pressure with very fickle fans and the French stations just add fuel to the fire- you do have a big supporter on the French RIS station (his name is Normand….I don’t know his last name- but I like what he says- he’s fair and unbiased.).
Carey…all I can say is this: I wish you the BEST season of your young career, so far. I believe you have the talent to show everyone who thinks you can’t that you CAN!! Just concentrate on your game, once the “real” team is out there playing in front of you and you have better defense, I think you will blow everyone out of the water. You did not get to be the #1 Goalie for the Habs because you’re a good looking kid- you got the job because tou DESERVE it!!!
Go out there and show them how it’s done!!!!
    Take care, Carey.
    Francine Guy
    A fan.

  • Yves Drouin says:

    Message to Carey Price:

I am a good fan of Carey… I am 59 years old and have seen alot of hockey. I am a CH fan who would love to see Carey be very successfull as the team would also become great !
Seems to me he has won previously and has great great potential but somehow in some games the concentration does not seem to be there….

Therefore, I think it’s just a little click on the mental aspects of the game. Please remember that mentally you have to start thinking of your game at least 48 hours before it actuallly happend… It’s played in your mind..

The physical aspect occurs during the real game time and that part needs to have your attention to the fact that each game must be played as if it was a seventh sudden death game … There is no other way to greatness.

    I am behind you 100 % so go and perform… It’s your destiny…Good luck…

  • Phil says:

    Hello Carey,

Every one knows your a good goal tender, but sometimes the good we have inside has a hard time coming out. Its all about managing your thoughts and energy. I think too much negative energy is around you got to turn things around.

I send you good thoughts and good luck.

If you think all this makes sense to you, you can contact me i will give you the titles.

    Thank you

    Phil

  • Sheena says:

    Carey,
When I lived in Montreal, I was appalled at the speed at which the fans turned on their players. But one thing I noticed is that when they love you they adore you.

Now, I live in Toronto, and I wonder which group of fans are worse. The ones who are contently blind with the sometimes-on-sometimes-off performance of their team, or the ones who raise their team as heroes when they are on their game and chastise their team when they are not. I hope you take it as (hard to swallow) tough love. Montreal seems to treat their team like a 1950’s era father – first one to sing the praises, first one to beat them senseless when they fail.

I hope that you will not fall victim to the same plague that so many good goalies before you have succumbed to. You are great. You were great. You will be great. Please don’t lose hope, faith or love. If you can survive the gossip-mongering, ruthless Montreal media, then you will be the better for it.

And when you think that those ‘boo’s in the crowd are your fate, remember that there are millions – literally millions- of other people who are shaking their heads at the unsupportive treatment of the Bell Centre attendants.

We still love you Carey! Well, I do. I still love you. I still have my jersey and wear it every game. I’m known in my area as that ‘Habs fan’ who, when the game isn’t shown on CBC, goes to the bar and asks for one TV to be focussed on you and your teammates.

We’re not the only ones who realize that the success or failure of a team is up to the cohesion of the team, not one – or two – players alone. I hope this message finds you well and, at the very least, reminds you that you have fans worldwide who are in your corner.

Thanks for sticking it out! :)

  • Nicolas says:

This is ur year price. You will lead us to our 25th stanley cup.

    Hey Carey,
I am a huge fan for you and your team and just wanna say great game against the penguins today! (March 12) I just signed up for your website and it is an honour to be a part of it!! Just wanna say good luck with the caps on Tuesday and I promise I will be there for you!!

  • Lee says:

    Hi Carey,

I just want to comment on what you have done last summer to get you where you are today. You certainly knew what needed to be done in last year’s off – season and I would like to commend you for your desire to be the best that you can be. I’ve always had faith in you – always. Your positional play is second to none and your handling of the puck reminds me of your team’s old nemesis in Jersey the other night. You’re a treat to watch. Stay sharp and keep being you. Sighned – a Habs fan forever, hope you will be as well. :)

    • Lee says:

And I would also like to add: I was speaking to Jean Beliveau last year at a function and he spoke very high of you. Keep the faith he told me. I in turn told him that I have never lost it.

  • Josh says:

hey price big fan not a lot of time but have lots of cards including your rookie is about $20.00 !!! gotta go. ya but remember BIG FAN!!!!!:):):):):):)
